This place is a vibe. Best food I had for a 2 day trip. Didn't do my own cooking, had the kitchen staff do that part and it was amazing. I fully recommend this place but couple of things first before you go. The wait time for food if the kitchen is cooking is long. Like so long I thought they forgot about us but then again we were hungry. The smell in the air makes you hungry as soon as u walk in. Second very affordable, they had a party when I was there so was a bit noisy but that food made up for all the negative things that happened all day. Just writing this post makes me feel like taking a weekend trip again. I will definitely be back.

I went in the afternoon as a random stop in as I passed. I got the tang soo yook (fried pork) it was a huge serving (for 25)iwas able to eat there, plus 2 more meals from it. They also give you Banchan (small side dishes) it was very tasty, and I'll be back. They do have grills@ a few tables, so you can grill your own BBQ. It was fun to see others do, but just be aware your clothes & hair will smell the rest of the night like whatever others were cooking lol.

Decided to treat myself to an absolute feast for my birthday. The rice cakes are exactly what I needed, so delicious. Next time I’ll try it with cheese instead of egg, the egg was good I think I just assumed it would be a softer boiled egg. The kimbap was a great price during lunch, also very tasty.

The food was excellent. We did the combo, we grilled our meats, and we ordered from the kitchen. The pork belly and oxtails were the best. Their chicken wings were tender and seasoned perfectly. The whole experience was fantastic.

To be honest, I did not expect much of authenticity in NOLA. I’ve seen countless mediocre Korean restaurants in many small and large cities in different states. I’ve tried other so called Korean restaurants in the different parts of NOLA. But to my great surprise, this place has done it well. I’m a Korean foodie who’s always in a search for a good cuisine. And I did not expect Little Korea BBQ to remotely even come close to Korean restaurants found in cities like Dallas, Houston, or Atlanta. But they surely provided and option for self grilling environment as well as excellent kitchen menus that were not attempts of Korean dishes. Many of the dishes that we have order had the authentic flavor. Not all, however, are considered the best that I’ve had, but it was good enough. When I asked to be spicy, it was spicy enough. Side dishes were authentic and replenished free of charge as it should be. So, there is my approval stamp. If this restaurant was in highly populated oriental Asian area, it may have receive 3 stars for few of less than good dishes (such as yaki udon). But for being where it is, I must give 5 stars for pioneering 정신.

The spicy rice cake was so good, it wasn't too spicy but just the right amount of spice. I had fried rice with egg and it was really good. But my favorite was the spicy BBQ chicken wings, it was soo good. It was sweet and spicy, it was like the sauce was candied and put on the chicken. It was crunchy and hot, 100% recommend. My mother loved the oxtail too! It was falling off the bone. The waiter was really nice. Lovely atmosphere
